Amlodipine ( brands are Norvasc, Istin ) is used to treat hypertension or angina. Amlodipine is a long-acting calcium channel blocker used as an anti-hypertensive and in the treatment of angina. Like other calcium channel blockers, Amlodipine acts by relaxing the smooth muscle in the arterial wall, decreasing peripheral resistance and hence reducing blood pressure, in angina it increases blood flow to the heart muscle. This blood pressure pill affects the amount of calcium found in your heart and muscle cells. This results in relaxation of blood vessels, which can reduce the amount of work the heart has to do. Before You make Amlodipine sale online ask your medical provider or pharmacist if you have questions. Amlodipine lowers high blood pressure (hypertension). Amlodipine drug also relieves different types of chest pain (angina). It is not a cure. Generic Norvasc medications are available. Take Norvasc by mouth with a full glass of water. Take Amlodipine pill with or without food. Take Amlodipine medication at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed.
